Additional Information: | THIS TWO-STORY HOUSE FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, AN ALUMINUM/VINYL-SIDED EXTERIOR AND A GABLE ROOF. ALTHOUGH CONTAINING MANY OF THE STANDARD MOTIFS OF THE QUEEN ANNE STYLE, THIS RESIDENCE IS SIMPLIFIED IN ITS DESIGN. A MANSARD ROOFED, CORNER TOWER IS LOCATED AT THE POINT WHERE THE TWO WINGS OF THE L-SHAPED PLAN MEET. BENEATH THIS IS A PORCH, WHICH COVERS THE FRONT ENTRANCE. CHAMFERED CORNERS WITH DECORATED BRACKETS APPEAR ON BOTH THE GABLE ENDS. THE DWELLING, BUILT IN C. 1890 WITH ADDITIONS MADE SUBSEQUENTLY, IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. (SEE BIB. REF. A). ACCOMPANYING THE HOUSE IS A GARAGE; NO INTENSIVE SURVEY DESCRIBES THIS STRUCTURE, HOWEVER. |
