Additional Information:A square, single story, vernacular industrial secondary building constructed of red brick with a slightly pitched gable roof and stone foundation. Boarded square windows with brick sills on north, south, and east sides and rectangular door originally accommodating doors was located on the west facade. Demolished in 1983. The small square brick building, erected during the 1916 construction boom in the C., St. P., M., and O. Car Shops, was used as a hose house. Located close to the southeast corner of the Wood Machine Shop, the building housed a 90-0 foot and 2 1/2 inch hose to be utilized in case of fire.
