THIS TWO-STORY RESIDENCE IS CONSTRUCTED WITH A SQUARE PLAN CONFIGURATION, A BRICK FOUNDATION, A COMBINATION BRICK AND STUCCO EXTERIOR AND A TRUNCATED HIP ROOF. THE SECOND STORY, DESIGNED WITH HALF-TIMBERING, OVERHANGS THE BRICK FIRST STORY. OTHER DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE HOUSE INCLUDE BROAD EAVES AND A FRONT-FACING, CROSS-GABLED DORMER OVER A PROJECTING BAY. BUILT IN C. 1940, THIS HOUSE IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. 2014 This two-story Craftsman house was constructed 1913. It rests on a brick foundation with a hip roof with wide eaves and a central projecting gable with wood vergeboard and brackets. A gambrel dormer clad in wood shingles is centered on the rear (north) elevation. The first story is clad in red brick while the second story overhangs slightly and is clad in stucco with decorative half-timbering. The main (south) facade is symmetrical with a center entrance flanked by four-over-one, double-hung sash wood windows. The second story has three multi-light windows spaced evenly across the facade. Windows on the side elevations are a combination of multi-light, double-hung sash and paired casements. A historically enclosed two-story porch projects from the rear facade. |
