Additional Information: THIS TWO-STORY GABLED ELL FEATURES A L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A COMBINATION STONE/CONCRETE BLOCK FOUNDATION, AN ASBESTOS SHINGLE EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM, AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED, MULTI-GABLED ROOF. A SHED-ROOFED ADDITION AND AN ENCLOSED SHED-ROOFED PORCH HAVE ALTERED THE APPEARANCE OF THE DWELLING. HOWEVER, IT DOES RETAIN AN OVAL WINDOW ON THE SECOND STORY (PHOTO, HELMENSTINE, 72). THE RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION. ACCORDING TO TAX RECORDS, J. BAYLIS WAS AN INDIVIDUAL ASSOCATED WITH THIS BUILDING IN 1907. AGAIN ACCORDING TO TAX RECORDS, THE DATE OF CONSTRUCTION OCCURRS BEFORE 1907.
