NOTES
Additional Information: DECORATIVE FISH-SCALE SHINGLES, WHICH NOT ONLY FORM A BAND BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND STORIES, BUT ALSO ADORN THE OPEN GABLE ENDS, CHARACTERIZE THIS QUEEN ANNE STYLED HOUSE. OTHER FEAUTURES OF THE TWO AND A HALF STORY RESIDENCE INCLUDE A RECTANGULAR PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR WITH WOOD TRIM (STICKWORK) AND AN ASPHALT SHINGED GABLE ROOF. CHANGES HAVE AFFECTED THIS DWELLING; ITS FORMER USE WAS AS A FARM HOUSE, AND THE ORIGINAL DESIGN WAS ALTERED BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF ADDITIONS. THESE CHANGES HAVE NOT AFFECTED THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE, WHICH IS CONSIDERED GOOD. A SURVEYED PROPERTY RELATED TO THIS RESIDENCE IS A BARN, LOCATED BEHIND 319 N. GROVE (53-12). (SEE AHI RECORD #: 0047640).
