DECORATIVE SHINGLES IN THE OPEN GABLE ENDS AND CHAMFERED CORNERS ACCENTED WITH LACE-LIKE BRACKETS CHARACTERIZE THIS TWO-STORY QUEEN ANNE. CORNER BOARDS, FRIEZE BOARDS, WINDOW CONRICES AND LEADED GLASS ARE ALSO PRESENT IN THE ARCHITECTURE. THE INTACT FRONT ENTRANCE PORCH IS DESIGNED WITH INTRICATE SCROLLWORK AND TURNED POSTS. THIS BUILDING IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. AN HISTORIC NAME ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOUSE IS FRED LAMPOP; THE DATES OF HIS ASSOCIATION WITH THE HOUSE SPAN FROM 1891 TO 1907, ACCORDING TO TAX RECORDS AND THE DEED. |
