NOTES
Additional Information:Brick and concrete and metal are the exterior fabric on this 2 story commercial building. The roof is flat. The entry is stepped back and there is a shingled porch-like awning. The side shows brick arched windows filled in. A metal cornice/entablature has brackets. It sits higher than the roofline. Much of the original integrity of this building is gone and it has no architectural signifcance.

A dry good and grocer was here in 1887. The building was a one story frame structure with shingled roof. It was vacant in 1892 and destroyed in 1899. It was rebuilt between 1900 and 1912 as a one story brick building with a slate roof. In 1912 a saloon was here and by 1927 the roof was composite. In 1942 Kocians Supermarket was here. (Since 1954 it has been in a new building on North Knowles - Red Owl Market).
