Additional Information: | This 2 story four square has Colonial revival details and clapboard exterior fabric. The hip roof has pedimented gables. There are fish scales in the gables. The foundation is rock faced. There is a leaded glass Queen Anne window. A plain frieze is under the eaves and there are endboards and a box cornice. A tall exterior chimney is at the side. The full front porch has a hip roof and dentils under the eave. It is enclosed. Much of the integrity of this home remains and it is a good example of a foursquare with Colonial Revival details. It is a commonly found style and this diminishes any architectural significant it may have (since betters examples can be found). |
