Additional Information: | This 2 story residence has Colonial Revival details and aluminum siding exterior fabric. The plan is half-Basillica on this homestead house. The foundation is rockfaced. The hip roof has pedimented gables with colored glass square windows. Second story windows have diamond shaped mullions. The full front porch has a hip roof with pedimented gable and round columns with capitals. There is a box cornice. Much of the original integrity of this house remains but siding and window changes haev altered it so that the house has no architectural significance. The barn is 1 1/2 stories and has clapboard exterior fabric. The roof is gambrel and window is 2/2. There ae the remains of a stone fence (uncut stone). See SC 35-17 for photo. |
