BJORN, A NORWEGIAN STONEMASON, CONSTRUCTED THIS HOUSE USING LARGE, EVEN STONE BLOCKS WHICH ORIGINATED IN A NEARBY HILL. BLOTZ OWNED A FLOUR-GRINDING MILL WHICH WAS ON THE SITE. THE PROPERTY IS STILL OWNED BY THE BLOTZ FAMILY. OUTBUILDINGS SUCH AS BARNS ARE ALSO LOCATED ON THIS FARMSTEAD. |
