A TWO-STORY, MULTI-GABLED HOUSE WITH TWO PROMINENT FRONT BAYS FLANKING AN ELABORATE ENTRANCE PORTICO. BRACKETS APPEAR ALONG THE EAVE LINE OF THE ROOF, AS WELL AS ALONG THE BAYS. THE PORTICO IS SUPPORTED BY TUSCAN (?) COLUMNS, AND FEATURES ELABORATE BRACKETS AND DENTILS. CHIMNEYS POKE THROUGH THE ASPHALT-SHINGLED ROOF AT EITHER END OF THE HOUSE. RELATED BUILDINGS INCLUDE 63/17, 18, 20, 23. IN 1870 JAMES SPENSLEY OWNED PROPERTY AND HAD A FURNACE THERE. |
