THIS TWO-STORY HOUSE FEATURES A COMBINATION SQUARE AND ELL SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE (COURSE ASHLAR) FOUNDATION, A BRICK EXTERIOR, A STONE TRIM, AND A SHINGLED, COMBINATION HIP AND MANSARD ROOF. THIS ROOF IS FURTHER DESIGNED WITH A LARGE, SQUARED, BALUSTRADED DORMER WHICH DISTINGUISHES THE ATTIC STORY, AND SLIGHTLY FLARED EAVES. PAIRED BRACKETS APPEAR UNDER THE EAVES, AND ARCHED STONE WINDOW HEADS APPEAR OVER SEVERAL OF THE WINDOWS. A WRAP-AROUND PORCH IS SUPPORTED BY TUSCAN COLUMNS. DENTIL TRIM AND EAVE LINE BRACKETS EMBELLISH A FRONT-FACING, WOODEN BAY WINDOW. A FANLIGHT AND SIDELIGHTS ARE PRESENT ON THE FRONT DOOR. THIS RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

Wilson came to Mineral Point in 1855 from New York. He served as Attorney General of Wisconsin, Superintendent of Mineral Point Schools, and District Attorney, as well as being a lawyer, banker, and editor. [C&D]
