July-August 2001-The concrete gateposts are ornamented by geometric designs of gray rock and colored glass. These posts are located at the entrance to the Fountain City Rock Garden.

John Mehringer designed the Fountain City Rock Garden in the 1930s. The Fountain City Rock Garden does not meet the criteria (Criterion C) for the National Register because it is not a significant example of its type and because the garden has lost historic integrity.
