WHAT MAY HAVE BEEN TWO GLASS STOREFRONTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH BOARD PANELS AND SMALLER RECTANGULAR WINDOWS TO ACCOMMODATE THE FIRST FLOOR'S CURRENT USE AS A RESTAURANT. THE REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING IS LARGELY HISTORICALLY INTACT. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE: ANOTHER ITALIANATE STRUCTURE ON MAIN STREET WITH FINE ORNAMENTAL BRICKWORK IS THIS TWO-STORY STRUCTURE. IT FEATURES SEGMENTAL-ARCHED, FOUR-OVER-FOUR WINDOWS WITH HOODED CORWNS AND KEYSTONES ON THE SECOND FLOOR. THE ORNAMANETAL BRICKWORK INCLUDES PILASTERS, CORNICE PATTERNS, A PATTERNED MASONRY PARAPET, AND THE HOODED WINDOWS.
