F IN THE PHOTO CODES IS SHORT FOR FCS AND R IS FOR RED. DESCRIPTION: THIS TWO-STORY, BRICK BUILDING IS L PLAN IN SHAPE WITH A MULIHIPPED ROOF AND STONE AND CONCRETE FOUNDATION. IT HAS ONE SEMICIRCULAR FANLIGHT IN THE TOWER AND ANOTHER IN GABLE-ROOFED DORMER. THE TOWER HAS A HIPPED-WITH-DECK ROOF AND BRACKETED EAVES AND IS SQUARE IN SHAPE. THE MAIN ENTRANCE ON THE FRONT FACADE IS ARCHED, AND MOST OF THE WINDOWS ARE RECTANGULAR IN PLAIN FRAMES. THE WINDOWS HAVE STONE LINTELS AND SILLS. THE BUILDING ALSO FEATURES BRICK CORNICE PATTERNS. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE: THIS BUILDING AND THE NEARBY OLD WOOLEN MILL BUILDING (ALSO ITALIANATE IN DESIGN) ARE THE MOST ARCHITECTURALLY PROMINENT BUILDINGS ON OMRO'S MAIN STREET. MOST CONSPICUOUS IS THE BUILDING'S FOUR-STORY CLOCK TOWER. IT ALSO FEATURES ORNAMENTAL BRICKWORK, STONE BELT COURSES, AND A MULTIHIPPED ROOF. THE STRUCTURE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.
