NOTES
Additional Information: THIS ELABORATE, QUEEN ANNE, TWO-STORY FRAME HOUSE HAS VARIED ROOF FORMS AND SURFACE MATERIALS. A HIP ROOF IS INTERSECTED BY TWO PEDIMENTED GABLED ROOFED, THREE-SIDED BAYS - ONE PROJECTING EAST AND ONE SOUTH. A RECTANGULAR BAY TO THE NORTH AND A SMALL GABLE ROOF ACCENT ON THE EAST SIDE ALSO EXTEND FROM THE MAIN HIPPED ROOF. DOUBLE ENTRANCE DOORS, BRACKET DECORATED CHAMFERED CORNERS, A FLARED UPPER STORY, DECORATIVE SHINGLES IN THE GABLE END AND AT THE SECOND FLOOR LEVEL, A PEDIMENTED GABLE ROOF OVER THE PORCH ENTRANCE, AND A ONE STORY EXTENSION AT THE REAR WITH A SMALL INSET PORCH SUPPORTED BY TURNED POSTS CHARACTERIZE THIS LARGE, VERNACULAR DWELLING. CANTED BAYS, CORNER BOARDS, FRIEZE BOARDS, BALUSTRADES AND SPINDLE WORK DETAILING ARE ALSO PRESENT ON THE STRUCTURE. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PORCH HAS BEEN ALTERED, DETRACTING FROM THE ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS RESIDENCE.

THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT AFTER 1896 AND WAS RESIDED IN VINYL IN 2005.

Previously surveyed in 2004.
