| Additional Information: | THIS HOUSE DISPLAYS A BRICK EXTERIOR, WHICH NOW HAS BEEN PAINTED. THE SLOPING, GABLE ROOFS HAVE CORNICE RETURNS AND CORNER BOARDS. THE STEET FACING GABLE END IS DECORATED FURTHER WITH ITS SHINGLES AND FRIEZE BOARDS. THERE ARE ONE-STORY GABLED EXTENSIONS, OR WINGS TO THE NORTH AND SOUTH. A THREE-SIDED BAY WINDOW, LEADED GLASS, AND A FRONT PORCH WITH SPINDLES, TURNED POSTS AND BRACKET CAPITALS ADD TO THE CHARACTER OF THE DWELLING. THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT PRIOR TO 1895 AND PARTS OF IT WERE PROBABLY BUILT PRIOR TO 1875. THE TWO-STORY CENTER PORTION IS PROBABLY A LATER BUT STILL EARLY REMODELING. |
