Additional Information: THIS GABLE ROOFED, TWO STORY, FRAME HOUSE FEATURES SHINGLES ON THE UPPER HALF AND HORIZONTAL ALUMINUM OR STEEL SIDING ON THE LOWER, VERY PROMINENT CORNICE RETURNS IN THE OPEN STREET-FACING GABLE END, WINDOW CORNICES, AND A FULL LENGTH ENCLOSED FRONT PORCH WITH BATTERED PORCH SUPPORTS. THE PORCH HAD AN OPEN DESIGN ORIGINALLY.

THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT AFTER 1895 AND, AS ORIGINALLY BUILT, WAS ONE OF PLATTEVILLE'S MOST DISTINCTIVE CRAFTSMAN STYLE HOUSES. THE HOUSE WAS NOT REPHOTOGRAPHED FOR THE 2005 SURVEY.
