Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Built sometime between 1921 and 1925, this two story brick commercial structure first was used as a garage by Charles Aronson. Circa 1930 the building was used briefly by the Merrill Buick Sales Co., then by 1936 the building was listed as the Armory, Battery F, 120th Field Artillery of the Wisconsin National Guard. By 1942 the building was used by the Merrill Vocational School as a garment making school.
