LANCASTER'S CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH (NOW THE FAITH EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH) WAS MOVED FROM THE COMMUNITY OF COBB (APPROXIMATELY TWENTY-FIVE MILES NORTHEAST OF LANCASTER) IN 1950. IN COBB, THE STRUCTURE SERVED AS THE PRESBYTERIAN CHRUCH. DURING THE FIVE YEARS BEFORE THE MOVE, A NEW TOWER AND STEEPLE WERE ADDED AND THE INTERIOR WAS REDECORATED. (A)

SINCE IT WAS FIRST SURVEYED IN 1983 THIS CHURCH HAS BEEN RESIDED IN VINYL.
