| Additional Information: | BRACKETS, EXPOSED RAFTER ENDS, AND DECORATIVE HALF TIMBERING DISTINGUISH THIS FINE RESIDENCE. THE ONE AND A HALF STORY BUILDING HAS A RECTANGULAR SHAPED PLAN AND A GABLE ROOF. THIS STRUCTURE WAS FOUND TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS HOUSE IS NOT SHOWN ON THE 1940 SANBORN-PERRIS MAP AND IT HAS A CONCRETE BLOCK FOUNDATION. IT IS THEREFORE POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS MOVED TO THIS SITE SOMETIME AFTER 1940. IN 1950 THIS LOT IS OWNED BY THE CATHOLIC CONGREGATION SO THERE IS NO TAX VALUE LISTED. ARCHITECTURAL STATEMENT: FURTHER RESEARCH ON THE DATE OF CONSTRUCTION IS NECESSARY. AT THIS TIME IT IS KNOWN THAT THE RESIDENCE WAS EITHER CONSTRUCTED AFTER 1940, WHICH IS UNLIKELY, OR ELSE IT WAS MOVED TO THE SITE. |
