NOTES
Additional Information: A FRAME ONE AND A HALF STORY HOUSE WITH A HIP ROOF PENETRATED BY TWO ROOF DORMERS AND A NEO-JACOBEAN OCTAGONAL TOWER. PILASTERED TRIM ON THE FRONT DORMER AND THE TUSCAN COLUMNED TWO SIDED PORCH SUGGEST CLASSICAL INFLUENCE. LEADED GLASS, A BRACKETED RECTANGULAR BAY WINDOW ON THE NORTH SIDE AND AN OVAL GLASSED FRONT DOOR FURTHER CHARACTERIZES THIS VICTORUAN STRUCTURE. THIS UNUSUAL SMALL IRREGULAR HOUSE IS IMPORTANT TO THE ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURAL VARIETY OF HAZEL GREEN AS THE BEST REPRESENTATIVE OF A SMALL VICTORIAN HOUSE STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL STATE. THIS STRUCTURE ALSO HAS SIGNIFICANCE AS AN UNUSUAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LATE VICTORIAN COTTAGE.
