Additional Information: | PAIRED BRACKETS UNDER EAVES ON MAIN FACADE. WAS SIDED IN ASBESTOS IN 1979 SURVEY AND HAS NOW (2002) BEEN RESIDED IN ALUMINUM CLAPBOARDS. This street front portion of the property was built by Fauerbach Brewing Co. in 1899. Level 1 had a bar and dining room. Level 2 had 4 rooms. The abstract shows Philip Fauerbach (FBC treasurer) paid the final loan contract in 1904. It was used by the brewery to house 4 hop processing workers during August hop harvest. The building called the Creamery was also Fauerbach property. Used for hop processing. Farmers brought hops by wagon. 2024: May have been built around 1850. The current owner has removed the siding and an older building is visible behind the front facade. |
