Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. This one-story astylistic utilitarian storage building features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete block foundation, a wood frame construction, an exterior of drop siding, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Description of Complex: The Presque Isle Rearing Station (44 06E-34) is located just west of Winegar in Vilas County. This is a seasonal rearing station used primarily in the spring. The only structure that is present is a storage building (1935) construced of drop siding and white wood trim. The building is in below average condition.
