THE MAIN BLOCK OF THE HOUSE (TO THE RIGHT) WAS BUILT CA.1882 FOR VALENTINE OEHLER, WHO BUILT THE ADJACENT OEHLER MILL WITH HIS BROTHER, GOTTFRIED, IN 1862. THE KITCHEN WING OF THE HOUSE (TO THE LEFT) WAS BUILT BETWEEN 1922 AND 1930 FOR THE JAHNEL FAMILY.
