Additional Information:SEE HAER FORM. PHOTO CODES ARE FROM THE FOX RIVER VALLEY SURVEY. ADDITIONAL MAP CODES ARE S;9A, 10A. SEE 0039619 FOR ADDITIONAL PROPERTIES. This structure was built in 1911 by the Badger Furnace Company. Originally engaged in the manufacture of furnaces, Badger Furnace ceased production around 1923 to become a wholesaler of heating and sheet metal products as well as a manufacturer of postcard racks and washing machines. By 1938 the company had entered the roofing and siding market. During the WWII, part of the plant was converted for residential use, a use it retained until 1975 when the entire plant was coverted for storage purposes. The structure consists of a large double storied iron clad framed building with flat roof and a smaller single story gabled structure to the west.
