Gilbert (Smith Baumann) 1917: Portage Cash Store (Farrell) 1910, 1908-09; No listing for 100/102 E. Cook and Portage Cash Store is not listed in R. L. Polk in 1917-18 or before. The directories indicate that the building functioned as the Portage Cash Store by at least 1917 until at least 1929/ By 1937, it had become Kerr's Restaurant which remained in business at 100 E. cook until at least 1955.
