Additional Information: | A two story frame commercial building located on the southwest corner of N. Dewey and Wisconsin Streets. The structure which is clapboard and aluminum sided features a boomtown facade. On the first floor the original storefront is generally intact. A residence is attached on the south. A grocery with a dwelling located on the second floor occupied the building in 1883. In 1885 the same tenants are listed, while in 1889 only a store is noted. In 1897 a meat market was the occupant. The 1931 map shows the commercial structure a store - and attached dwelling. |
