NOTES
Additional Information:The Linton Block (see 415 S. Barstow St., 20/14 for other half of structure) is a two story brick commercial structure which features a brick corbel table at the roof line, and four double hung windows which are reduced in size from the original openings. The most southern bay (it is actually the center bay of the entire structure) is framed by pilasters and corresponds to an entrance on the ground floor. The building's name and date of construction also appears in this center section. A stone stringcourse and stone sills are additional details. The lower storefront area has been significantly altered.

The 1897 Sanborn Map noted only "stores" at this address (B). In 1908 the Red Front Flour and Feed Co. and a grocery operated by George Linton (no doubt the owner of the Linton Block) occupied the building (C).

913 and 915 are the two storefronts of the Linton Block, see AHI 40915

2019: Storefront has been remodeled
