Additional Information: | A two story frame dwelling that is sided with asbestos shingles. A "boomtown" facade is featured on the southern half of the building. Rooming houses, which accomodated the large number of single men employed by the lumber industry, were common features during Eau Claire's lumber "boom." The Norway House, which catered to men of a specific ethinc group, is the remaining example of this phenomenon. 1997-Vinyl sided now. |
