Additional Information: | Triangular pediment over central bay bordered by capped brick pilasters; concrete coping and belt course above store front windows; store front windows now filled in. Feb. 2021: This 1-story Twentieth Century Commercial building was constructed in 1919. It is rectangular in plan with red brick walls and a flat roof. The front elevation faces northwest and is asymmetrical in plan due to uneven fenestration across the façade. The façade is divided into three bays with brick pilasters between each. The southern bay contains a single vehicular bay with an overhead door. The middle bay contains a pedestrian scale entrance (downsized from the original with transom space filled by vertical board siding) and a large window opening that has been infilled with vertical board siding and a downsized 2-pane sliding window. The northern bay contains a large window opening that has been infilled with vertical board siding and a downsized 2-pane sliding window. A triangular parapet is located over the center of the façade and contains a stone plaque at the center that displays the building’s construction year (1919). |
