This structure contributes to the significance of the East College Avenue Residential Historic District under Criterion C as a good example of a 1930's Colonial Revival suburban house that has been preserved with most of its features intact. The aluminum siding and glazing of the sun porch are later alterations. 2005-This house was last surveyed in 1991 and no visible exterior changes have been made to date. Assessor's records indicate a 1938 date of construction. City directories confirm that date. The original owner of this home was George H. Beckley and he operated his own insurance company. |
