It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This is a two and one half story, gabled-hip-roofed, rectangular, clapboarded house with rock-faced limestone foundations and a partially shingled second story. Virtually all of the architectural detailing is concentrated on the facade which is loaded with eyecatching features including the paneled second story oriel with its classical entablature, the columned second story loggia with its peculiar exposed rafter end cornice, the shell-topped palladian window in the attic gable with its multipaned and cutticed glazing and the large dormer with its gable with exposed rafter ends and shaped brackets jettied out over an ornately latticed amd mulitipaned oriel window. The most original feature of the design is the full length, shed-roofed, front porch supported on paired Tuscan columns resting on stone pedestals. The entrance to the porch is framed by a broad, free-standing, rusticated limestone rich frontispiece with square tear-drop-finial-topped piers rising on the sides to form the newels for the turned balustrade at the second story open deck in front of the loggia. This structure contributes to the significance of the Appleton City Park Historic District under Criterion C as a highly original example of a medium sized late Queen Anne house displaying an extraordinarily complex and eclectic facade treatment incorporating elements drawn from both the Romanesque Revival and Colonial revival styles.

At some point of the building was moved from its original location on 122 N UNION ST to 229 N. Union Street. Damaged by fire in 2018. Demolished due to fire damage in 2019
