NOTES
Additional Information:This is a two and one half story, gabled hip-roofed rectangular, frame, late Queen Anne style house illustrating the Free Classic phase of the style in its Tuscan-columned front porch, its most distinctive architectural feature. The asymmetrically arranged fenestration consists of various sizes of one-over-one wooden double hung sash. There is a boxed oriel window on the north side of the house. The foundations are rusticated concrete block.

This structure contributes to the significance of the Appleton City Park Historic District under Criterion C as an identifiable example of a late Queen Anne house that in its massing, fenestration and remaining details retains the characteristics of the domestic architecture of the turn-of-the-century. Although clad in wide steel siding, the house retains its original front porch and fenestration and contributes to the historic architectural character of the district.

Garage also on property.
