Additional Information:This structure contributes to the significance of the East College Avenue Residential Historic District under Criterion C as an example of an older house remodelled in the Colonial Revival style in the 1920's or 1930's. Like so many other houses in Appleton, this house was given a new cladding of wood shingles, six-over-one sash and a Colonial style broken pedimented door surround to bring it up to date.
