Additional Information: | Additional map codes are: FCS 9/6. Additional photo codes are: FCS 9/6. Related building: OU 31/4. FCS 9/6 - CBC COATINGS (A) - is a one and one half story utilitarian industrial building, a metal-roofed, gabled brick rectangle with a shed-roofed, channelside extension. In imitation of effects of the Tudor Revival, openings through the red tapestry brick are ornamented by flat arches and brick surrounds with light-colored stone corner blocks. Two cement-silled horizontal windows in the south, sidewall have been infilled with glass block. The gable of the downstream endwall has a square attic windows above a ground-story overhead door with flanking standard doors framed like sidelights. A standard door in the extension is covered with a metal panel. Below the junction of the shed and gable roofs a vertical hatch has paired metal doors that close around a protruding beam suspended from a rod. Resurveyed December 2010; center doorway has been bricked over, ventilator pipe protruding from opening under gable. |
