Additional Information: | Related buildings: OU 29/6,8. 2021: This utility building is historically and currently associated with the operation of Appleton’s Middle Dam are located south of the dam structure, at the western end of the North Island. This shed-roof building is located west of the Damkeeper’s Cottage, immediately adjacent to the concrete walkway over the dam. This building rests atop concrete piers at the very eastern end of the North Island. Its primary elevation faces north towards the dam and is clad in vinyl siding with wide overhanging eaves. Recent additions to the east and west were constructed in similar scale and with a shed-roof profile and overhanging eaves. Windows appear singly and in bands of multiple sashes, consisting of 1-over-1 double hung replacements. |
