Additional Information: | Excellent large, early example of the style. Polygonal two and a half story tall ell bisects the symmetrical main facade and contains the main entrance in the first floor. The entrance has excellent large leaded and bevelled glass side lites in either side of the vestibule and the vestibule is in turn, flanked by large picture windows, each having fine leaded and bevelled transom lites. There is also a polygonal hip roofed bay window on the south facing facade. The house is an excellent representation of the transition between Queen Anne and the Colonial Revival styles and contains elements of each. Godfrey Nejedlo, original owner, was a partner in Nejedlo Bros. flour, feed and grocerings. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
