Additional Information: | Unusual design with a wide clapboard sided band between the basement and the first floor window sills. A thin wooden strip forms a stringcourse below the cornice. The wide overhanging boxed eaves above have stuccoed soffits. The wide hip roofed front porch has wide shaped false beam ends under the soffits acting as brackets. The front porch piers are stucco sided and are outlined in thin wooden strips. The porch balustrade is solid and has twin semi-circular bowed projecting on either side of the center entrance. The porch roof covers the rectilinear entrance vestibule and the paneled entrance door has a single large oval lite. There is a blind rectilinear bay to the left of the entrance door and there is a wide, shallow rectilinear hip roofed ell across most of the south facade which extends the building 1-2 feet to the south and is expressive of the spaces within.
