This one and a half-story rustic styled ranger station garage features an L-shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a rusticated concrete block exterior, wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gabled roof. Dormers intersect with the main roof in the attic story. The structure is in good condition. The Hayward Ranger Station has functioned as a ranger station since its date of construction in 1935.
