NOTES
Additional Information:Excellent, largely original example with polygonal tower housing stairwell on the north facing corner of the main facade. The third story of the tower is sided in fishscale pattern wood shingles, has single lite oval windows and is topped by a pavillion roof. The front facing ell has a canted first floor whose main window has a fine stained glass transom above. The base of the second floor of this ell has a band of tongue and groove board siding below the second floor windows divided into panels with the center two being angled and the outer two being vertical. The combination gable and hip roof of this ell has a sunburst decoration in the gablet end. There is a band of woved clapboards siding between the first and second floor windows on the east and west facing facades of the main block. The double front doors have each a single large oval lite and there is a transom lite above. The gable end facing west is sided in fishscale pattern wood shingles and there is an inset side porch in the first floor below. A fine, largely original example. Garage attached to rear is a flat roofed, two-stall Craftsman design later than the house. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4
