This one-story astylistic utilitarian storage facility/garage features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a wood framed construction, clapboard exterior, wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. The structure, which has had no major alterations from its original form, is in good to fair condition.

The four-stall Lake Tomahawk Ranger Station storage shed has functioned since its date of construction in 1944 as a place of general storage of fire fighting equipment, boats, a snow toboggan, and lumber and hand tools. An associated building is the ranger station. (See Map Code 11/3).
