NOTES
Additional Information:Vernacular building with pedimented gable shaped parapet with projecting cornice with paired brackets, false front with dentils. Remainder of front is completely altered fron the original. 1996- "Retaining only its decorative, wooden, pedimented parapet, this one story structure has stucco siding. The building appears to have once carried a canted corner entrance, although the structure has been so severely altered that its original function is not readily apparent. A modern entry and windows are the only interruptions in the entrance facade." - "La Crosse North/South Transportation Corridor", WisDOT ID #5991-04-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd. (1996). 2017 UPDATE - NOT EXTANT - IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOME OF THE ORIGINAL BUILDING STILL EXISTS WITHIN THE CURRENT BUILDING, BUT IT HAS BEEN SO ALTERED AS TO BE UNRECOGNIZABLE, IF SO. 2024: Not resurveyed for STH 35 Corridor Study. Building is extant, but heavily altered and has a large addition from c.2005.
