Additional Information: | Vernacular, brick (painted green) house with intersecting hip roofs, cross gable on front and south sides, rectangular north side hip roofed bay with cross gable, bargeboards, round arched paired windows in gable ends, shed roofed entrance in angle of house with pediment over entrance, straight flat stone window lintels, and projecting front bay.
1996- "Rising from a coursed stone foundation and topped with a hip roof, this two story residence is constructed of painted brick and has modest Victorian detailing. Hip roof wings project from the main block, and intersecting gabled roof overhangs shelter paired, round-arched, second-story windows with keystones and flanking shutters. A plain, wide frieze runs the perimeter of the residence, breaking only at the gabled overhangs of the wing projections. The remaining, tall and narrow openings are accented with both lug heads and sills, and a shed roof porch with pedimented entry and single post support fronts the West Avenue facade. Evidence of original, eight-pane windows exists along the dwelling's northwest comer, although the remaining fenestration is modem. Also, a hip roof wing extends from the rear, as does an enclosed porch addition with aluminum siding."
