NOTES
Additional Information:This one and one-half story, frame house was designed by architect David R. Jones. Its Gothic Revival styling suggests a construction date during the 1850s. It may have been one of Jones' first commissions after opening his office in Cambria in 1856. The house is clad with clapboards and displays Gable Ell form. While the one-over-one windows are replacements, original label moldings have been maintained. Scroll-sawn bargeboards and gable pinnacles ornament the eaves. The south-facing entrance exhibits a full-fa¿ade, closed rail porch that appears to date from c. 1920. Originally surveyed in 1974. BARGE BOARDS IN GABLE AND UNDER EAVES,MITERED ARCH WINDOW. Since first surveyed in 1974 this house has been resided in vinyl clapboards and several of its original pointed arch windows have been altered.
