Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This one-story Front Gabled residence features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a wood frame construction, a wood trim and a rolled asphalt covered gable and shed roof. Wooden drop siding is used on the exterior walls. A basement is included in the architectural design. The previous owners were Alonzo and Minnie Getchell. Description of Complex: The Upper Wolf River Fishery Area (33 13E-16) is located on State Route 55 northwest of Lily in Langlade County. The Upper Wolf River Fishery Area includes many structures, but most of them are built after 1950. The only existing pre-1945 structures are two residences (both constructed in 1929) and a pit toilet (constructed in 1930). One of the residences is constructed of logs and is in above average condition. The other two structures are in very poor condition.
