Additional Information: | Stained glass windows; decorative shingles on gable ends; two story projecting gabled bays on the east and front sides; rectangular east and west bay windows; spindle decorated shed roof boards on west side windows; two sided front porch with spindle ornament, turned posts with capitals and pediment over the porch entrance; double leaf door, rear addition. A good example of the Queen Anne styled house typically built in the 1880's in Chippewa Falls, the historically significant Alex McLaren House is an important example of the style. |
