Additional Information: | Stuccoed upper with narrow clapboard base; bargeboards and shingles in gable ends; window band; gabled enclsoed front porch; roof dormer. 1996- "Including wall treatments of stucco, narrow clapboard siding and shingle work, this gabled bungalow rises from a rock-faced concrete block foundation. An enclosed, gabled porch is offset to the left of the main facade, and windows throughout are largely modern. A shed roof dormer faces south, and the wide eaves have been covered with aluminum." - "La Crosse North/South Transportation Corridor", WisDOT ID #5991-04-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd. (1996). 2017 UPDATE - THOUGH THIS BUILDING STILL HAS SHINGLES IN THE GABLE ENDS AND STUCCO AROUND THE WINDOWS, THE LOWER PART WHICH WAS ONCE CLAPBOARD SIDING IS NOW CLAD IN BROWN VINYL SIDING, SOME LOSS OF INTEGRITY. |
