Built in 1901 after the plan of an old Southern plantation home, the interior was finished in fine woods and decorations customary of the period. Arpin lived from 1863-1951. The house was remodeled into a mortuary c. 1950. Later owners included Baker-Wilkinson (morticians) and Ray Schwoegler. |
