Additional Information: | Ornamental pressed brick, corbelled brick patterns, stained glass windows, white stone window lintels and sills, exotic onion shape caps and an oriel window are used to color and decorate the flat wall surface of this Queen Anne commercial building. Used in the 19th century as a wholesale grocery house by A.J. Post's Chippewa Mercantile Company and as an office building, the Marshall Building is a well-preserved (except for the modernized store front) architecturally significant example of a commercial structure. |
